Job Purpose/Mission
The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, brand equity, and market share through effective marketing strategies and data-driven decision-making. The role involves leading branding, publicity, and digital marketing initiatives, ensuring adherence to Corporate Identity (CI) guidelines, and delivering innovative campaigns that enhance customer engagement and improve market positioning. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to build and justify business cases to support strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Revenue Growth and Strategy Formulation: Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive revenue, sales growth, and market share expansion. Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with strategic goals. Build and justify business cases for campaigns and initiatives, securing buy-in from stakeholders.
- Pricing: Provide input and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Go-To-Market Development & Execution: Develop, execute and align GTM strategies to overall business goals for new products, services, and processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product launches, market penetration, and sustained growth.
- Brand Equity and Communications Management: Manage all brand and communication efforts to strengthen brand equity and positioning through strategic marketing initiatives and campaigns that align with the brand’s identity and values. Ensure adherence to Corporate Identity (CI) guidelines across all marketing materials, channels, and customer interactions.
- Market Analysis and Customer Insights: Regularly monitor and conduct in-depth market research and analyze customer behavior, competitive landscapes, and industry trends. Use advanced data analytics to refine marketing strategies and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Digital Marketing Innovation: Lead digital marketing initiatives, including social media, email, and online advertising, to enhance didgitsl presence and ensure high ROI. Leverage data to evaluate digital campaign performance and optimize for engagement and effectiveness.
- Campaign Management and Execution: Design and execute marketing campaigns aligned with revenue and brand-building goals. Work with internal and external stakeholders to create integrated campaigns that build awareness and drive quality sales.
- Data Analytics and Reporting: Develop dashboards to track KPIs and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Prepare high-quality presentations and reports to communicate insights and justify marketing initiatives to management.
- Stakeholder Management and Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, marketing agencies, and key stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Product, and Customer Experience, to ensure alignment and execution of marketing strategies.
- Team Leadership and Development: Manage, mentor, and motivate the marketing team, fostering growth and ensuring alignment with company goals. Review and measure team outputs to maintain quality and consistency across all initiatives.
- Customer Experience and Loyalty: Implement customer relationship programs to improve engagement, retention, and loyalty. Use customer feedback and performance metrics to refine engagement strategies.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Experience:
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in Marketing, Branding, and Communications, with 3+ years in strategy formulation and revenue-driving roles.
- Proven experience in building business cases and delivering data-driven marketing solutions.
- Industry experience in FMCG or Telecoms sectors with a strong understanding of customer demographics and media landscapes.
- Expertise in digital marketing tools and techniques, with a track record of high-performing campaigns.
- Skills:
- Analytical Skills: Advanced data analytics abilities to guide decision-making and optimize performance.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong Excel skills for data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to create and deliver high-impact presentations for stakeholders and leadership.

- Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, or a related field (ZIM membership required).
